Department of Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre disclosed that 10 to 12 high- profile inmates are willing to testify against Senator Leila de Lima on her alleged involvement in illegal drug trades at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa and that thew will be appearing before the Congress on Tuesday.
Among them are convicted robber and drug dealer Herbert "Ampang" Colangco,who is included in the drug matrix presented by President Rodrigo Duterte; and the head of Genuine Ilocano Gang,Noel Martinez.
Aguirre said that the two will give details on how they collected money from the illegal drug trade inside the NBP which is forwarded allegedly to De Lima  and used it in her senatorial campaign.A witness  who claimed that he personally handed Php 5 Million to the Senator in her ParaƱaque residence allegedly in the presence of her reported driver/lover Ronnie Dayan.

INMATES TRANSFERRED TO AFP FACILITY

Eight high-profile inmates who will testify against Senator De Lima have already been moved to  a military facility. The inmates will also mention how convicted carnapper Jaybee Sebastian ordered them to collect funds and remit sales from drugs to De Lima’s campaign kitty.

Aguirre said:"Sebastian ordered them to sell 20-30 kilos of shabu a month to collect funds. They even had arguments because of that.” 

“Pumupunta si De Lima sa Bilibid. Wala syang dinadaanang [inspection], diretso na sya sa kubol ni Jaybee Sebastian,"according to Aguirre .



Aguirre clarified that the inmates have their own lawyers. He said he has not spoken personally with the inmates and he has not promised any bargains of  benefits or favor in exchange for their testimonies.
