Negotiations
are on-going for an SSS and PEBA partnership for 2012. It should be noted that
in 2010 SSS sponsored PEBA’s Annual International Blog Awards. Various
activities are being developed by PEBA to help promote among OFW SSS 55th Anniversary
this coming September 2012.

SSS aims to cover
and get more OFW members. Relying on the power of the word-of-mouth strategy for
OFW to entice their fellow migrant workers, they are running a contest, member-get-member

Having
launched the promo few months back, yesterday 29 February 2012 a total of 9
lucky winners were drawn, 3 each from Asia, Middle-east and Europe (plus other
regions).

PEBA is
helping SSS to promote its aim to cover more OFW since we believe that with a
social security an OFW provides protection not only for himself but his family
and also a pension when he retires aside from the other benefits SSS provides.
